Lucid Lake started out as a solo recording project by Matt Mullen; an idea inspired by a college radio instrumental rock show which he ran of the same name. What began as a solo project, resulted in a collaboration between co-producer and multi-instrumentalist, Nick Aganad. This album was recorded inside a home in San Jose, California, in many different rooms using many different instruments.
